PV Net Academy Curriculum & Course List

We have exciting activities planned for our students that will motivate and engage them!  Course material will be blended in multidisciplinary units combining factual knowledge, academic skills and technology. 

The following course list shows how these courses will look on the transcript to colleges. We will also include a school profile which will better explain the PV Net Academy approach to learning.

All courses indicated with IP (in person) will be taught on location with qualified teachers during the 2021/2022 school year. Courses indicated with an H/O will be offered as hybrid or online only. All lab science courses require in-person lab activities. Most courses may be taken in-person on a one-on-one basis for an additional charge. 

GRADE 8
  • Integrated Science 8 or Pre-AP Biology
  • English 8 or Pre-AP English 1
  • U.S. History 8
  • Algebra 1 or Geometry
  • Spanish 1 or 2
  • Engineering and Technology 
  • Digital Art or Music
  • Video Production & Editing

Grade 9
  • English 9 or Pre-AP English 1
  • Algebra 1 or Geometry (higher levels may be either on-line or one-on-one) 
  • Pre- AP World History
  • Pre-AP Biology (other sciences offered in hybrid format)
  • Spanish 1 or 2 (Spanish 3 online only)
  • Digital Art or Electronic Music 
  • Video Production & Editing
  • Engineering and Technology
  • Robotics & Coding
  • AP Comp Science Principles or AP Comp Science A
  • Biotechnology

GRADES 10-12
  • For the 2021/2022 school year, all classes listed on this page are available online with live, synchronous instruction by HBA teachers.
  • Students in grades 10-12 can build their own schedules, combining on-line classes, one-on-one classes and in-person STEM project based courses.
  • PV Net Academy will provide subject area teachers to offer in-person tutoring for most subjects.  
  • Most classes are available on a one-on-one basis for an extra charge.
  • Students in grades 10-12 will have access to all PV Net Academy in-person STEM project-based classes.
  • Digital art, music and film production will also be offered in-person.
