Stephen Cobb

Stephen Cobb is an accomplished international educator with over 25 years of experience in educational leadership, teaching, and boarding school management. He has held senior leadership positions at prestigious schools in the United States and internationally, bringing extensive expertise in student development, residential life, and school administration.

Throughout his career, Stephen has served as Head of Boarding and Designated Safeguarding Lead at Dulwich International High School Suzhou, as well as the founding Director of Boarding at Harrow International School Beijing. His experience also includes serving as an Assistant Principal in the United States and holding various academic leadership positions at international schools.

In addition to his leadership experience, Stephen has a strong academic background in Economics and Business Studies. He has taught across multiple international curricula, including IB, A-Level, AP, and Honors programs, and has served as an associate professor in Economics and Business at Lakeland University and Pacific University in the United States.

Stephen holds an MBA in International Finance and Economics and a master's degree in Education. He has also completed a graduate certificate program in School Management and Leadership jointly offered by Harvard Business School and the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

At High Bluff Academy, Stephen brings his extensive experience in boarding education and student welfare to support a safe, inclusive, and nurturing residential environment. He is passionate about fostering a strong sense of community, encouraging personal growth, and helping students develop independence, responsibility, and confidence both inside and outside the classroom.
